CTM teams up with Uber in Australian first

Corporate Travel Management (CTM) is delighted to announce it has become the first travel management company in Australia to partner with Uber for Business.

The agreement will allow our valued customers to incorporate Uber for Business into new and existing travel programs.

By signing up to Uber for Business through CTM, you can streamline your travel and reporting processes, saving time and money.

Travellers and managers can book business trips directly through the Uber app, which can be integrated into CTM’s booking and trip management app, CTM Mobile. Companies can track and consolidate employees’ Uber spend in one portal. Travel managers can configure their company’s Uber travel policy within the app for greater cost control, setting parameters for distance, location and vehicle type.

Additionally, your travellers will no longer have to worry about taking out-of-policy rides or submitting expense reports.

According to Uber, businesses can save 30% on ground transportation if they shift to the ride-hailing service, as well as up to $34 per expense report that can now be billed directly to Uber.

The program allows you to configure customised travel policies, add to employee management systems and track user transactions for improved duty of care.

“We are delighted to enter the first partnership of its kind with Uber,” said CTM Chief Executive Officer Australia & New Zealand, Laura Ruffles. “At CTM, we pride ourselves on responding to feedback and our customers have clearly indicated a growing preference for ride-hailing services.

“This partnership will allow us to provide customers with a flexible and convenient range of ground transportation options tailored to their business needs.

“We look forward to collaborating with Uber for Business and developing new, smarter ways to meet the needs of customers.”

“Uber for Business is thrilled to team up with Corporate Travel Management to help businesses in Australia develop and implement smart ground transportation strategies that can save businesses money and time,” said Michael Goodwin, Head of Partnerships, Uber for Business.
