COVID-19 Travel Updates

CTM’s expert travel consultants and account management teams are on hand to assist our customers 24/7 with their booking requirements via their usual contact channels. Where customers have altered or implemented new travel restrictions in light of COVID-19, CTM can advise on and implement new policy regulations across our solutions. 

We encourage our customers to closely follow their local Government’s travel and health advisory services, as travel and health advice is changing regularly and differs by region. Please refer to smartraveller.gov.au (for Australian residents) or safetravel.govt.nz (for New Zealand residents) for the latest information and advice for travelling overseas.

Australian Border Control

Effective 1 November 2021, the travel ban is now lifted for fully vaccinated Australians – read more here.

Proof of COVID-19 vaccination certificates are available through MyGov to allow for international travel. Australians can store their vaccination ‘passport’ in COVID-19 travel apps such as the International Air Transport Association (IATA) Travel Pass.

From November 2021, States and Territories that reach an 80% vaccination rate will be eligible to progress to Phase C of the National Plan. Under Phase C, international travel is available to fully vaccinated Australian travellers.

 

New Zealand Border Control

Mandatory masks

Australia: For international and domestic travel, all passengers (excluding children 12 and under or those with particular exemptions) and air crew must wear masks on flights and in airports. More information
