Tony Bellas

Tony Bellas has more than 25 years experience in both the government and private sectors. Tony is currently pursuing his own business interests and has previously held positions of CEO of Ergon Energy, CS Energy and Seymour Group. Prior to this he was Queensland’s Deputy Under Treasurer, with oversight of a number of Treasury operations including Fiscal Strategy, Office of Government Owned Corporations and Office of State Revenue.
In 1999, Tony led the teams responsible for both the floating of the Queensland TAB and the Queensland Government’s interest in the Bank of Queensland. Tony was also a member of the team that oversaw the merger in 1996 of the Suncorp and QIDC entities into the publicly listed company Metway Bank, creating the new group Suncorp Metway. His team then managed the staged sell-down of the Queensland Government’s holding in Suncorp Metway.
Tony is currently a Non-Executive Director of ERM Power Pty Ltd, ERM Power Retail Pty Ltd and Watpac Limited. He is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Management, and a Member of both the Australian Institute of Company Directors and CPA Australia.

He holds qualifications including a Master of Business Administration; Bachelor of Economics and a Diploma in Education.
 

Greg Moynihan

Greg Moynihan is a former CEO of Metway Bank Limited. He has also held senior management and executive positions with Citibank Australia and Suncorp Metway over a range of disciplines including financial and capital management, investment management, corporate strategy and marketing, as well as having primary P&L accountability for business operations covering general insurance, business banking, retail banking and wealth management.

Since leaving Suncorp Metway in 2003, Greg has pursued a number of business interests, primarily in the investment management and private equity sectors, as well as having significant involvement with clubs and charitable organisations.

Greg is currently a Director of Ausenco, Sunwater Limited, Urban Art Projects Pty Ltd and several private investment companies. He has previously held directorships with Cashcard Australia Ltd, LJ Hooker Ltd, RACQ Insurance Ltd, HFA Limited, Suncorp Metway Ltd (various subsidiaries) and First Base Pooled Development Fund.

Greg holds qualifications including a Bachelor of Commerce and a Graduate Diploma, Securities Institute of Australia. He is a Fellow of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia and a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
 

Stephen Lonie

Stephen Lonie is a Chartered Accountant, with more than 38 years industry experience, and a former Managing Partner of the international accounting and consulting firm KPMG. He now practices as an independent management consultant and business adviser.
Stephen is currently Chairman of Rock Building Society and CS Energy Ltd. He is an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia; a Fellow of the Institute of Management Consultants of Australia, the Australian Institute of Company Directors and the Financial Services Institute of Australasia. Stephen holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Queensland.
 

Claire Gray

Claire Gray brings 24 years’ experience to Corporate Travel Management. Her career within the travel industry began in 1984 at Harvey World Travel. In 1989, Claire joined with Craig Smith to form independent travel management companies Travelogic - which merged with Corporate Travel Management in 2008 to create the largest privately owned business travel agency in Australasia at that time - and Macquarie Travel servicing Macquarie Bank.

Ms Gray currently holds senior roles as Vice Chairman of the Asia Pacific region and Operating Committee member to the Global Board of the GlobalStar alliance of international travel management companies, which represents more than US$13 billion in sales.

In addition to holding a Diploma in Travel and Tourism Management, Claire undertook CEO Management Training at the CEO Institute and continues to engage in ACTE courses in ‘Best in Practice Business’.
 

Jamie Pherous

Jamie Pherous, CEO/Managing Director, founded Corporate Travel Management in 1994. He has built the company from its headquarters in Brisbane to become the largest privately-owned travel management company in Australia, employing more than 300 staff.

Prior to establishing Corporate Travel Management, Jamie was employed by Arthur Andersen (now Ernst & Young) as a chartered accountant specialising in business services and the financial consulting division in Australia, Papua New Guinea, and the United Arab Emirates.

Jamie was also a major shareholder and co-founder of an online hotel booking engine Quickbeds.com.au which was sold to Flight Centre Group in 2003.

His core strengths include strategic planning, growth and development, risk management and technology. In recognition of his role in overseeing Corporate Travel Management’s strong growth, Jamie has twice been a finalist in the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year award.

Lyndall McCabe

Company Secretary
Company Secretary Lyndall McCabe has held managerial positions with Corporate Travel Management since joining the company in 2000, including Finance Manager and National Operations and Human Resources Manager.

Lyndall facilitated Corporate Travel Management’s acquisitions of Rhodes Corporate Travel and Corporate & Leisure Travel, and the establishment of Corporate Travel Management’s ‘start-up’ operation in Sydney.

She has more than 11 years experience in the travel industry sector, having previously been employed by a travel consolidator, and in advertising. In 2005, Lyndall was made a Director and shareholder of Corporate Travel Management.
